NanoGripMold
Currently, when a patient has a series of biopsies, each one is treated in the laboratory and at the diagnostic phase as individual samples. This can be costly, both in terms of money and time – and when you’re testing for cancer, time can mean everything.
NanoGripMold is a seismic breakthrough in the lab. Now, patient biopsies can be easily and quickly arranged and grouped in the laboratory – saving a lot of work for technicians and allowing the pathologist to evaluate samples of one patient on one slide instead of several.
This parallel processing, or multiplexing, of biopsy samples, is the future of diagnostic technology – allowing for faster and easier diagnosis with no drop in accuracy.
The Benefits
NanoGripMold is easy to use, with no special training required. Simply press the sample onto the sticky surface embedded in the steel mold. Molds are available in several configurations, catering for everything from one biopsy all the way through to a full tissue microarray. As well as saving time, you’ll be saving money and reducing waste – NanoGripMold is long-lasting and fully reusable, so you don’t need to dispose of and replace any consumables.
Exchanging multiple blocks and slides with a single block and slide for processing in the lab also gives the benefit of reducing the use of expensive and potentially harmful reagents and antibodies, minimizing the risk of external contamination.
